Strategy/Methodology of the Organization:

The strategy based on the Mission statement that is “Struggling To minimize the sufferings of Vulnerable and encircle the goal of the organization. The goal of the organization is to contribute in improving the living Standard of the vulnerable communities of Balochistan through community mobilization, Capacity building, Advocacy & strengthening of institutions at the grass root level for improvement in behaviour change & delivery of social services particularly interventions related with Reproductive Health, Education, Child Protection, Water & Sanitation ,Drug Abuse, HIV AIDS prevention. Women Empowerment, infrastructure development & poverty mitigation.

DANESH is non-Government and non-profit organization and working in Balochistan since 1996 to achieve the goal and Objectives of the organization. However the entire Balochistan is vulnerable but DANESH focus the most vulnerable communities with special focus of women & children. After their need assessment by using PRA tool and right based approaches then design project and involve all the concerned stake holders including Government & line departments, key persons of the communities, targeted beneficiaries without gender discrimination to achieve the objectives of the projects and organization successfully. On the basis of Organization Experience DANESH realize the main cause of the vulnerabilities of the targeted beneficiaries are poverty, lack of knowledge, social cultural values and misconceptions about the issues, unequal distribution of resources, lack of basic facilities in rural areas of Balochistan and the most important is the gender discrimination not only at household level but also at community level.

DANESH always realize the ground realities and pay special attention in community mobilization in all projects. The strong mobilization of all stake holders and their active participation regarding the issues build the ownership in communities and made the efforts successful.

DANESH is very much keen in selection of Partner as it also affects the credibility of the Organization. The partner selection criteria depends on the intervention and need of the project but it is always consider to choose those partners having working experience or have the potential to work and ensure the quality of work. After the selection of partner an MOU signed to reduce the conflict, clear description of roles and responsibilities of each partner involved in the implementation and clear guidelines to follow all the standard program and financial procedure.
